    • And what if I can (remember, that is)?

      • Would it be true to say you had a safe and sane new year's eve and can remember?

        • What would you think if it is true to say that?

CAN YOU ANSWER A QUESTION WITH A QUESTION?

Can you answer a question ---- with a question?
Oh yes, I do it ----- all the time
But when I answer a question ----- with a question
I try to make ---- the question rhyme

            Example Number One
How far is the Earth ---- from the Sun?
I got the answer fom the files
            What is 93 million miles?

            Example Number Two
Why is the sky so blue?
Does have to do ---- with dust and light
that make a blue so bright?

And lastly ---- Why the sky is gray?
Do you know --- what I would say?
The clouds ---- are full of water
and it will probably ----- rain today

You can answer a question ---- with a question
And folks ---- will think you're bright
But you must use ----- the proper question
so your answer ---- will turn out right

            • What can we possibly do to continue this line of posting?

              • Wouldn't you rather have a 2017 poetry contest
than see who can rhyme their question best?

                • How about Rhyme Loving Writer and I
                  give a 2017 poetry contest a try?
Can we be the judge and jury
and you post the rules in a hurry?
It's almost time for Christmas yule—
wouldn't a poetry contest truly rule?

                  • Could it be more fun than playing in snow?
Could we invite every poet we know?
When there's a winner - what would be the prize?
Must it be something without any size?
Where (I'd been wondering) had MHenry gone?
Now he's appeared - isn't life better by at least 1000X?

Yesiree - it is - don't you agree?

                    • A RhymeZone mug and t-shirt, methinks
would be a great prize, or do you think that stinks?
How much could it cost per extra hit
from all the contestants that try to win it?
Is Electron John indisposed in the john
or is it possible he could put the contest on?

                      • Point of order
                        if I may chime
                        not all poets’
                        poems use rhyme.
                        Though RHYMEzone is
                        this shared site’s name
                        would you exclude
                        them from your game?

                        • Did someone say it had to rhyme?
That's not how it was last time...was it?

                          • Is that not part of MHenry’s test?
To see who can ‘rhyme their question best?’
                            I copied that quoted line
                            from the post 1089
Unless he meant it just in jest?

                            • Perhaps I unwittingly missed that precise phrasing? I think either/or would be fine, don't you?
