I've liked that one about the coins since I was a kid. My grandpa told it to me when I was little, and I've used it ever since. People always get frustrated when I explain it and say that it's cheating. Good times.

      Alright, I got two!

Susan needed to go to the store to buy some ingredients to cook with. She started writing them down:
      Butter
      Milk
      Eggs
      Baking Soda
      Cashews
      Oranges
      Vinegar
      Lemon Juice

      What was Susan making?

A bus driver was heading down a street in Delhi. He went right past a stop sign without stopping, he turned left where there was a 'no left turn' sign and he went the wrong way on a one-way street. Then he went on the left side of the road past a cop car. Still - he didn't break any traffic laws. Why not?

        The Delhi riddle: He went right past a stop sign without stopping - this can be done legally if the stop sign that he went past was for a different lane of traffic;
he turned left where there was a 'no left turn' sign - maybe he turned his body left?
he went the wrong way on a one-way street - Is he walking now?
he went on the left side of the road past a cop car - India adopted the English based left side traffic system.

The cooking riddle: A really disgusting salad dressing? Lol. Is she making just one thing or several things?

So long as we are doing established riddles, I always liked this one.

As I was going to St. Ives
I met a man with seven wives.
        Each wife had seven sacks
        Each sack had seven cats
        Each cat had seven kits
        Kits, cats,sacks, wives
How many were going to St. Ives.

One is correct. Only the author is going to St. Ives. The rest are just people he met along the way.

The crazy question would be how many did he meet.
          1 man + 7 wives + 49 sacks + 343 cats + 2401 kits
Since sacks wouldn't count as someone 1+7+343+2401=
          2752

        BiocideJ , I think there was 23 , you the man plus 7 wives plus 7 cats plus 7 kits = 23

The wives had seven sacks. Each sack had 7. 7 times 7 is 49
