I don’t watch the news much anymore
Not the way I use to before
Each day brings another tragic story
We have forgotten all about God’s glory
I cannot remember a time when there was so many killings
It is as if we have no morals, values or feelings
I cry a little more as each story unfolds
The hatred in this country has definitely taken hold
Does the color of my skin offends you so
You have already determined that I am a foe
I know you was not born hating me
It was the teaching of your family tree
Look at me and see a human being
Do not judge me sight unseen
Hate has invaded your body and soul
And cause you to lose all control
I am afraid for everyone in this world
Especially little black boys and girls
As I pray things get better with time
I hope you hear me in this passionate rhyme

This is what I was wondering, I ended up entering myself but I'm not the right age either.

All you see is the sun, reflecting off of that gun
When it's you versus the badge, life is no fun
I'm ready for my final showdown at one
Best believe it, an outlaw's just begun
But you ride till the dark won't help you hide,
All's you need's your gold and pride
Watch time roll away like the tumbleweed
Clean yourself up from the nosebleed
And cheer when you see trees
To the west lies the mountains
Towards the town are the watering fountains
        Better have the right monologue
Or get caught up in the marijuana smog
So welcome to the wild, wild west,
And when there's heat, your hearts out your chest
If you're feeling a little stressed,
Be our guest, live life as blessed
