    POEM #302

    SEASONS OF LIFE
Looking out the window I see,
    Nature's splendor looking at me.
Flowers and grass with trees so tall,
Summer will go and leaves will fall.
Seasons change, as the days go by,
So effortlessly they don't even try.
As the sun, wind, rain, and snow.
Shines, blows, falls from the sky we know.
Birth to growth, sickness and death,
Our seasons until our last breath!
We live in Mother Nature's mold,
Hard as we try, life we can't hold.
The seasons go by, one by one,
Our seasons of life almost done.
A new child born to take our place,
A smile on Mother Nature's face.
Looking out the window I see,
    Natures splendor looking at me!
