    SANTA LOST HIS COOKIES
    Twelve cookies on Santa's plate,
Only one or two I ate.
    Surely Santa won't mind,
If I eat two of a kind.
Why not eat just two more,
    After all that's only four!
    Four from twelve leaves eight,
Would that give Santa a tummy ache?
Making Santa sick would be no fun,
Maybe I should eat another one.
Seven left is such an odd number,
Just one more will make it under.
How many cookies does Santa need?
Eating four more would be a good deed.
    I'm sure Santa won't miss,
The last two cookies I can't resist!
