    POEM # 270

    MAJESTIC MOUNTAIN
    Majestic mountain so high,
    Tallest peak piercing the sky.
Protected by howling winds that blow,
    Illuminated by crystal white snow.
    Crevices, valleys dangerously deep,
A mountain so alive it's never asleep.
Standing guard over all that is below,
    Scaling this mountain painstakingly slow.
Many have tried, many have failed,
This majestic mountain, no one has scaled.
Your choice will be glory or death,
Will you give your very last breath?
Climbers taking one step at a time,
Needing courage on this dangerous climb.
Halfway to the top, tallest peak in sight,
Danger will show, in this courageous fight.
Picture perfect sun kissing her cheeks,
Reflective glow, her snow covered peaks!
Conquered this majestic mountain so high,
Last step the tallest peak piercing the sky!
