Underneath an old oak tree, a girl met a boy.
Nothing could keep them from experiencing immeasurable joy.
Day in and day out, the two would play games,
Each making new personalities and taking new names,
Returning as soon as they could to continue the fun.

Soon they grew up and moved far away
Taking their memories wherever they'd stray.
At the same time each year, the two vowed to return.
Nothing would get in the way of their chance to play and to learn,
Determined to never forget where they came from.

In time they got married and their bodies grew old, so moving became hard.
Not to be defeated, they planted a new oak tree in their back yard.
Growing old does not mean you can't stay young.
