    POEM # 326
    DIMINISH THE MOON

Who sees the glimmering of the moon?
Who hears her vows and forgets too soon?
Her lambent beauty, shades of bliss,
Her bright existence throws a kiss.
Her early rising charm will delight,
Her flushed and blushing naked sight.
Her light shines upon the wave.
    Her elegance beyond the grave.
Her life will tarnish and pass away,
Her confession, fighting for a stay.
Only time, takes her away to soon,
Only time will diminish the moon.
