The same old man, always in the same place.
But you don't even look him straight in the face.
Always there, on the street corner alone.
No family, friends, or even a home.
Looking tired, exhausted, and worn.
Wearing clothes all tattered and torn.
His sign reads, "Need help. Lost my job."
But you ignore him; turn your back like a snob.
Thinking, "He can help himself, it's not my place.
I have my own trials that I face."
All you see is a dirty, homeless man;
But he is so much more...do you truly understand?
