Understanding and compassion go hand-in-hand,
Like faith, hope, and love!
Compassion listens and eases fears;
It finds a way to dry the tears.
When understanding rolls to shore,
The sands of despair are swept away;
An Iridescent pearl of love in its wake!
Far beneath the ocean's mighty roar,
Understanding dwells underneath.
And in the darkness comes forth the light,
And faith again to hope and believe.
