    POEM # 320

THE NIGHT IS QUIET, THE MOON IS BRIGHT

The night is quiet, the moon is bright,
The day lingers on soft yellow light.
Vines of the forest, expanding the glen,
    Actively growing, multiplying by ten.

The night is quiet, the moon is bright,
Dew, like sparkling jewels a lovely sight.
Buds from the flowers, waiting to bloom,
Beauty will open, like a mothers womb.

The night is quiet, the moon is bright,
Mellow winds stirring ever so slight.
Soft delicate love desiring to speak,
Rose pedals climaxing at their peak.

The night is quiet, the moon is bright,
Life is commencing natures early fight.
Through the window of life we find,
Passionate love from nature so kind.

A few contradictions in the poem, but overall not to bad. The wood is lovely dark and deep.
