    Understanding is assuming things,
from the top of your head.
Like getting your mother a bed,
when she kindly asked for bread.
Or like lighting a huge fire,
    inside the little shed.
When your father had simply said
    to “paint it fiery red”.
Or when you attacked your brother,
Because he jokingly said, “You're dead!”
