I laid in bed and prayed
For the leak to go way
I tried
But that’s not how it works
I tried again
But that’s not how it works
I stretched my hand to the sky
And the ceiling continued to cry
I tried
But that’s not how it works
I tried again
But that’s not how it works
Then I jumped from bed
Continued to the shed
And grabbed the tallest ladder
As I climbed to the leak with my tools
I realized only a fool
Would do nothing about the matter
And in a moment the hole was fixed
I had stopped the drops and drips
I DID
THAT’S HOW IT WORKS
