save a life
there's a little 'save the
world' in each of us.
it's okay that we see
tiny problems and make a fuss.
we've all wanted to
save a life or perhaps more.
we've all had an
opportunity to which we shut the door.
and i guess it's hard
when you stand alone.
but it's easier when you
realize a hand is all you need to loan.
perhaps we've all let
someone down.
and we've felt like we
left ourselves to drown.
and we worry so much
about the world.
we forget that, sometimes,
we, too, need to be heard.
it's okay to only save
one life, not a whole crew.
and its okay if that one life
was you.
