I look to the stars
And a feeling of insignificance
Washes over me
A speck in the nothingness
Is all that I am
And who's to say
That the vast universe
Is not a speck to something else
Yet as insignificant as I am
Each atom of me may be a universe
To an even smaller creature
So small
My frail mind
Cannot even begin
To comprehend it's existence
So I continue to look to the stars
When it hits me
An epiphany
It doesn't matter
Because nothing really does
And a feeling of insignificance
Washes over me
A speck in the nothingness
Is all that I am
And who's to say
That the vast universe
Is not a speck to something else
Yet as insignificant as I am
Each atom of me may be a universe
To an even smaller creature
So small
My frail mind
Cannot even begin
To comprehend it's existence
So I continue to look to the stars
When it hits me
An epiphany
It doesn't matter
Because nothing really does
