  • Ululating in a Cemetery

    She grabbed the hand of her only son
    Leading him near the silent side where the ocean rests.
    She pointed outwards and said "Look there upon the horizon.
    It is there where you will find your West."

    Every summer, they visited that spot
    Overlooking the ocean's ample acres view,
    until one day, he placed tulips 'pon that plot-
    the place where the son bid his mother "adieu."

    That day, he ululated amid the ocean
    Reflecting on the finality and faulty lives of some
    whom become objects stuck in an one-looped motion;
    Yet, Nature delivers everybody the same outcome.

        Yes! I like this poem a lot. I like the imagery of the ocean as the final resting place and comingling it with the cemetary.
