That sounds like an amazing idea. Thank you for it. I think I will start working on that right now. Once it is done I will post it!

Powerful stuff. Raw. Would you consider a poem in response to this one? Surely you have captured the cold isolation of suicide. What about the one/s left behind? It could almost mirror these lines, but from the viewpoint of a friend. Please think about it. Thank you for this soulful work. Has your friend read it?

It seems you have written something that pays tribute to suiicide, with death one's only true friend as well. One could argue that this might encourage a depressed person to try it, but I see it as a poem that studies the mood and the mindset of a person taking their life. You even had one commenter who was worried for your safety. You have succeeded in moving another soul to compassion. that is the Jist of poetry. Nothing more. ~~Matt

This poem is an interpretation of a feeling that my closest friend had. He has gotten past it now but it was a rough time.

    Tribute to suicide

    ----Just a warning----
This is more of a song...
    ----------------------------

A rope dangles from the rooftop,
Feel the chair drop and your neck pop,
you watch the world fade away
You watch the world fade to gray.
Life was sad up to the end,
and death was your one and only friend.
Your hear the click- bullet in the chamber, life's pull was strong,
    but death's greater.
    Cold metal in your mouth,
    feel the trigger,
    feel a sharp pain,
    getting bigger.
    Everything I ever said,
can't take the bullet back out your head, Never thought that it would end like this and your gone.
    Standing on the edge,
    got the courage,
my life stunk so ill end it.
I hope I never fade away.
I hope you never leave my grave.
Working...
