No, it's cool. I've just deleted other foreign language postings and wanted to clarify for folks. You're good.

I'm fully aware of that. I can post the English version of it if you want, but I'd probably attach a warning to it as the message would be a whole lot darker than my other entries.

I'm leaving this post up because you're a regular contributor and you have clarifying notes which explain your reasoning, but just an FYI, forum rule number 8 designates this as an English speaking forum and asks to post your poems in English. Not a big deal for me, but I thought you might like to know.

An interesting exercise
that stuttered through
my adolescent German.
"the rope or the gun"
which swifter,
more certain a
tunnel through
which to leave,
casting aside
the restraints of
memory, the fading
firework of family and friends.

Selbstmörderisch
Das Blut
Oder der Schmerz
Ich weiß nicht
Was ich tun soll
Mein Leben in Trümmern
Mein Leben in Unordnung
Das Messer
Oder die Drogen
Was auch immer
Zu mir passt
Aber es spielt keine Rolle
Ich möchte das jetzt beenden
Die Tränen oder ein
Gefühl der Freiheit
Aber es interessiert
Mich nicht mehr
Mein Leben in Trümmern
Mein Leben in der Dunkelheit
Das Seil
Oder die Pistole
Was auch immer

For Mental Health Awareness Month, here's a pretty dark entry but to make it less of that to a certain extent, it's done in German. However, unlike this entry also done in a foreign language, I will not provide the English translation for it as it would be too disturbing to read if I did.
(Note: I don't actually speak German... each verse was written in English and then translated, though with some sentences broken up just for effect)Tags: None
