His love for her was delirious
Together they had rediscovered
There was something quite mysterious
She loved him deeply like no other
In his fantasy, in his melody
he only lived to completely love her
I would look at them both with such envy
Without each other they truly suffered
They eventually went their separate ways,
He became a ghost with no fire inside
Simply existing and counting the days
His lifeless eyes showed he wished he had died
What happened between them, how could this be?
She had given him up so he might live
For she loved him past all known boundaries
prayed one day her decision he’d forgive
