Come sun, shine on,

Give me excess of it

So night's companion,

Festered gloom, be

Forgot and

Blown,

And dried

Be dawn's

Dewed eye.

John I always enjoy your poetry one thing niggles here we go from Blown and Dried to a Dew filled eye

The blown and dried I envisaged as a flower of night. I've added punctuation to seperate and concertina'd "dew filled eye" to "dewed eye" to give a scan more to my liking.
