Our new way of living
Hate, blood and death
Hope
Is not so far away
Shine its light now

May soon rise from the soil

We rest our minds on it

Feel the pain every day
Bloodied, smothered

When will it end?
When will we smile again?
For now
All we can do is
Wait for a sign
When the seeds are sewn
They will grow
And so will our hearts
We won't give up fighting
Resist the wind of change
Nothing can take us apart

While the sunflower is the national flower of Ukraine, it's now become a symbol of hope and resistance following Putin's madcap invasion of it.
