    Memory IN your mouth

I remember laying with you in Mc kraken’s field
Bon fire bright, railroad ties burning with creosote
    Rumors playing into our heads
Kegs of beer, tap after tap
    Youth and beauty, pure indulgence
Joints being shared, roaches pinched to the last
Red hair, black with no moonlight
    Sounds of atomic pleasure
The switch back path, who will love me tonight?
Atop this feathered golden dome of feasting
Then you release yourself and gasp
Apollo and all the stages collapse
Blue and white motorcycles wait to pass
Sweetbread belly I will kiss and consume
Black truffles en cognac, like you a delicacy
Under a platter of stars we will dine
In a moment of infinite memory
    This a carriage of intimacy
But I have loved eating all of you

Although I'm more ascetic than libertine, the "optics" on this were quite good.

Man...I've been missing some great poetry, being mostly away form the Rhymezone for a couple of weeks. Thanks for making 'catching up' such a pleasure.
