A coastal desert setting,
Constrained in concrete,
Truncated cone set

Upon inverted

Municipal Planting's

Dusty scruffs, Tagetes,

Simmer in the Summer Heat,
Burnt orange butting against a
Tangled pallette of crushed cans
And enpurpled Wispa wrappers,
Cast aside in Youth's
Fumbled desire,
young love,
perched
face to face,

dreaming on.

Pity to encounter this scene in what may once have been an idyllic setting - detritus washed ashore or left behind?...not that it would matter.

Truncated cone, Altered detail, we have them at the bottom of our village street ready for Municipal planting at the end of June. They are the sort of ledged thing one can see at the Seaside, young love, perched face to face,
dreaming on.
