I drink my problems away
at the cost of my liver
3 bottles a day

cuz i'm not gunna stop

my girlfriend left me
I gave her hell
her voice is still ringing
I think I might yell

but I'm still not gunna stop
untill I tick tick tick and pop

eviction notice
car payments overdue
that dude just punched me
let my anger brew

yet still I can not stop
and then I tick tick tick and pop

load up the gun
and drive to the store
the people keep laughing
can't take it anymore

and yet I couldn't stop
so I ticked ticked ticked and popped

the police arrived
told me to stop
and just as I had described
they when't pop pop pop pop pop

It is catchy. And this isn't just some nobody saying that. I've got more than thirty years of listening to gansta rap on my resume. Fifteen-year-old me knew every word to every track on Straight Outta Compton.
