Life was unsatisfying

I was never quite mature

I never started trying

And wound up feeling obscure

Acrobatic lying finally

Commenced to inure

Something very startling

That now feels almost secure

Vibrations long in dying

Carry evidence of pure

But echo off the flying

Undeniable allure

A feeling gratifying

Shows its ripple can endure

Now slightly reassuring

What had once felt so unsure
