  • Forthright Fledgeling and the Wise Old Bird

A forthright fledgeling takes a bough
Sings a song of re-gret and how
    Thunbird sings, temperatures rise
A call to arms for all allies

    Fledgelings song that chimes aloft
    Rings alarm and many scoffed
    Older birds can’t hear melody
From her branch on the science tree

    Science branches warning conceives
She hears the voices amongst the leaves
Truth is rooted deep in the earth
A wise old bird, he knows her worth

Owl and fledgeling sound the hooter
With their song they try to tutor
They croon and with song spread the word
The fledgeling and the wise old bird.
