My doubts, fears, and anxieties
Are like tornados
That rip through the cities on my heart.
They lay everything in ruins,
And I alone
Am left to pick up the pieces;
To rebuild the relationships and connections I had
That are now damaged.
These tornados destroy everything,
Disappear when nothing is left,
And then wait to strike again.
The next time they hit,
The destruction is more devastating,
Leaving me further from help,
And friends,
And family.
Are like tornados
That rip through the cities on my heart.
They lay everything in ruins,
And I alone
Am left to pick up the pieces;
To rebuild the relationships and connections I had
That are now damaged.
These tornados destroy everything,
Disappear when nothing is left,
And then wait to strike again.
The next time they hit,
The destruction is more devastating,
Leaving me further from help,
And friends,
And family.
