  • Anticipation

After a time of fear and uncertainty
The darkness will soon come to an end
Bitter memories set to be long-forgotten
Brighter days and futures are far ahead

It feels like the nightmare is no more
It feels like heaven has heard our cries
Optimism has never felt this real before
As we're drawn much closer to the light

    A dream coming true
    A chill of relief
    This anticipation
    Minds shall be eased

    A surge of emotion
    A desire to love again
We may hope for too much
    But whatever they say
    We'll be out of pain

Because of uplifting news about a really effective vaccine recently, the end of the pandemic is in sight.
