Waves that crash or pulse
Against something that is not of itself
Has no envy or agenda
Giving and taking
Without the accumulation of gelatin

Controls everything we need to survive
A realm we can never rule
Yet pretending to be godless
Percentage of flesh, consumed like wine in celebration
