    Pandemic

Everyone is worried more and more

A deadly virus is on the loose

It has invaded the US from shore to shore

Millions of germ cells have been introduced

Social distancing is a new concept

We all have to embrace these days

People need time to process it

All the hand-washing really will pay

It seems that oldsters are the most in need

As they can't easily fight this virus dread

As well as the younger people indeed

It seems many hard days may lay ahead

Schools are closing their doors earlier

Than they had ever planned to do

    Also restaurants and department stores

Are shuttered up to stop this flu

It is hoped that we all can strive

To treat each other with care

In a few months, we hope to arrive

At the end of this pandemic scare

Let's all lift our hands and hearts together

And pray that we soon will be free

And hope our economy will be able to weather

This awful disaster from sea to sea

Let's join in prayer for our sisters and brothers

The homeless and destitute in many lands

Refugees and kids without any mothers

Living in tents and on hot desert sands

This poem is very apt in today’s situation. People are so scared and the word world is shattered because of this pandemic virus. We need to be more aware and be personal hygiene and safe distance from the public to avoid this issue Cell Phone Booster For Home

RhymeZone Forums was extremely important to me. When I joined the site – in April 2016 – I was truly humbled that so much talent would accept a Simple Rhymer. However, a few months ago I decided to pull away due to – what I felt – was an abundance of SPAM postings and comments.

Recently, I was asked to become a Moderator to assist the other Moderators – and Administrators - in combating these SPAM postings and comments. It was my honor to enthusiastically accept.

I pledge to take the time to review the site daily (multiple times) and take appropriate action when necessary. I thank you for your contributions, and if you are considering withdrawing your talents – or have already done so – I sincerely hope you will reconsider.

My email address is [email protected] if you have any concerns regarding material posted to RhymeZone Forums.
