    PURITY OF WINTER’S BREATH

    Cover me
    Virgin intoxication
    Tears to frozen crystal
    Falling relentlessly
    Shivering for warmth
    Our neighbors know us not
    Babies pass into kingdoms
    We rejoice and weep
But snow is snow and white
    And knows nothing about feeling
    Coming with or without haste
It covers always with some sort of blame
    We tilt our heads
    And eventually fall in love

I'm confused on one line here TS - "It covers always with some sort of blame". I'll mull it over more, but it's causing pause right now.

Ah...I see. I may have muttered a few of those myself on rare occasion, but the beauty of it is not to be missed...and that you captured eloquently, as always!

Life is woven from a substance called joy. It does not need a reason, justification. An unhappy person has a reason for unhappiness, and a happy person is happy for no reason.
