  • Worm Moon

    Winters harshness turns
    A moon summons worms

    Signals frost is now past

    Spring soon amongst cast

    Soil softens surface

    Earthworms start service

    Male female as one

    Tunnel network done

    Decomposes the dead

    Recycles and spread

    Segmented cleaner

    Lunar Lumbricina

Well now, you just got me thinking Jon...I was wondering why this past super moon was called the 'worm moon'. Is it because it signals spring? That's so neat (much like your poem)!

And the red, Red Robin, goes bob, bob, bobbin along for worms. All in a day’s work under the Worm Moon.
    Excellent Jon!

This was really cool, I like the way you used the enjambment in places here. "Moon" and "Worm" is a cool combination and I definitely enjoyed your poetic spin!
