SPICES OF LIFE

While some traces have been erased by lost oceans
Or hidden by sands of dry wind
New worlds open in the mouths of babes
Arms are traded in secret
What was once poison is presumed to cure cancers
And what are known cancers roam the earth freely
Ask your self will you straddle the frozen crevice?
Or circle the volatile caldera
Drop down to save the lost or already dead in mild stench
In the shear drapery of covertness
Shower in random masturbation
Flowers grow in hesitation of human abandonment
But the spice of life lingers
Under the fingernails of Jane and John doe
A story of spice
A story of life
