    The Full Moon At Times

A sky can't always keep her
even lovers don't always have her
    perhaps we rarely need her
    or the other way around

    she never complains
    about belonging somewhere else
or of being kept at arms length
    while we attend to everything
    except the air

    at times she shows savants
    the last digit of pi
    (she knows
    when she has gone out
    as far as can go)
    in moments
when crying and happiness and silence
    are the same

    count such nights
    in astonishment

Thank you Tanner! Im glad you think so. I think the jealousy is even 😄 especially when you come up with things like "oafish stones"

poemzone, I forgot to mention that lunar glide on occasion has made Pablo Neruda stir in his grave with jealousy!

poemzone, Being jealous of lunar glide's poetry is a sin I freely admit to, repeatedly.

OMG, this is brilliant! It's the kind of line one is immensely jealous of!
I salute your insightful, as always.
