  • THE LOSING END for my son

I went down the road to see you

    But I had no answer

    I sat on your bench

Talking the good and bad times

Its always been hard for me

    I hope in the future

    I could get by somehow

Inside its so hard that you are gone

To this day I wonder why you are gone

I know I'm on the losing end

And I guess that feeling will never change

It's so hard for me to keep going

Everyday I miss you more and more

It seems my life is all different here

And some nights my tears will never stop

    As I leave your bench

    I shed one more tear

Hoping that tear will reach you

    To your heart

the bench may be in memory of someone gone but they are looking down at you sitting on it and getting emotional and they have already read your poem and I no they will have a tear up stairs and next time it rains it will hit you. great powerful poetry.

May the tears be healing ones. May the journey brighten. Write it out Tony - just write it out.
