Bar the doors and set the brace

The time has come this day

To hide away without a trace

Best run inside and stay



Sun set turns to darkened sky

A world lit by moon beam

The fading breeze more like a sigh

Released after the scream



No one knows wherein the murk

Lay unsuspecting wrath

In hidden places danger lurks

Along the random path



Spotted lights come on at dark

And in the shadowed crease

Slips the one who seeks a mark

Beware the human beast

Familiar tune, rhythm. All while I enjoyed it, classic really. Moody and yet 'narrative', and wholesome and good. A light bent to it. Thank you for sharing tmetel, hope you are doing well. Kudos + peace.
