  • Pimped

    To groom and prune, make her sweat;
    keep her deeper, steeped in debt.
    Lead her, cede her, cur to cur;
    reserved and served, make her purr.

    Of fees and sleaze, easy coin;
    a treat of meat, tenderloin.
    Impressed and dressed, make your pitch;
    the whore to lure, pimp the bitch.

    Ripen, syphon, stir and slur;
    drain to gain it out of her.
    ’Till worn and torn make her pay;
    when fresh the flesh, seize the day.

    Of dogs and hogs, howl and scowl;
    sneaking, creeping, on the prowl.
    Wheeling, stealing God’s own child;
    haggled, straddled, sold and soiled.

    A gritty departure from your normal offerings, but equally entertaining!

      Hello Dwayne, Yes, it is a departure, through the dark streets of the vile. Very much appreciate you reading and responding. All the best, Tony.

      Hello poemzone, I wrote this after reading a gut-heaving article on child trafficking. Innocence and the beast. Your words are very much appreciated, kind of you indeed. Do take care now, Tony.

    So true Tony how they defile and destroy our children.

      Hello Alexandra, Defile, such an obnoxious word, and the victims therein - heartbreaking. Thank you very much. All the best, Tony.
