    drawn string, sinew, muscle, bow,

    geometry's moment caught

    fork-fingered by nocked arrow,

    crook'd power released to flight.

      Thanks PP, inspiration is getting thin these days
      and in this case came from another's Beau and bow
      in Ciao by Merkavah.

      The last at which the English longbow was decisive. At the next engagement the French force had a different tactic and gunpowder was replacing muscle.
