Thanks SG. I had started a run of these 5 line stanzas after MHenry's
appeal for Ryuku (I haven't fared very well (insufficient boundaries))

This poem hangs like a jewel as well, and each reader adds their light. Excellent!

Thanks Tony, the final verse was intended

Hello Johntee, The beloved evening star as the earth hangs low. This is a lovely poem, truly - a joy to read. Well done indeed. Fond regards, Tony.

started a topic At the Beach

    At the Beach

    At the Beach

    Bucket and spade

    The beach transformed

    by tiny hands

    going tired home

    the tide has turned.

    And in the wash

    tall ramparts fall

    as diamond bright

    the Evening Star

    watches over all.

    Bucket and spade

    The sand terraformed

    by tiny hands

    and in the violet sky

    the Earth hangs low.
