    Besieging Ireland 1st March 2018

    Fine blown by drifting wind,

against the sieging snow we wait

the next onslaught of whirling white

    comforted by warning words

to stay indoors while giants fight,

    the challenge to Siberian blast

    sidling up in Portuguese heat

so blizzards due at four P.M.,

will bring the South to a halt,

a swathe for Cork, a shroud for Dublin,

all transport stopped from midday on.

In the departure lounge, life stands frozen

A blizzard's curse, to shut things down. I hope you got through it all okay. Your poem came through wonderfully.
