    Expectation & Hope

    It’s just around the corner
    then turn a sharp left.
    You’ll see the signs of
    Winter; fading, bereft

    Her sleep disturbed as
    golden trumpets herald
    roses so prim. Nearby;
    frogs spawning whilst
    blackbirds sing

    Foraging hedgerows
    for what lays underneath
    last year’s foliage; now
    burnished crisp leaf

    Tints, hues; all indications
    denote a change in
    this journey; implying
    expectation and hope

Lovely and hopeful both for spring and a new beginning.

The springing of Spring with its hoping of Hope. Very nice, mooneyblack!

Ah yes - refreshingly so - to be reminded. Today we are having sunshine, though the latest snow still covers most evidence of springing.
