  • from the middle of no where-

    You wake with
    flowers growing up
    next to the bridge of
    your feet
    dangling over water...

    From a long winter's nap...?

Yes, perhaps. That leads me to think more about this, and its orientation. I liked the disorientation.

Maybe it does fit without "context". Waking up and seeing water would be scary, like in a movie or a dream you might fall in.

Thanks for the comment. Certainly feels like Spring these past few days. Yes!

For me this begs the question- from what do you awaken?
        sleep
        depression
        anger
        sadness
        resentment
        loneiness

I guess the important thing is that when you awaken you see the calm beauty you were missing

Hmm, I saw something darker in this; like stepping back from the brink of self-harm? Perhaps I'm off the mark

Yes it has that positive quality. Thanks for your interpretations. I am glad it mirrors what seems are the season's passings, and gearing up for more good weather? I hope!

I feel a rebirth. Both perilous and beautiful. I love the beautiful simplicity.

I initially looked st this like Sister then I read it again and saw it as a beautiful peaceful moment.
