    Taken Home

    Clouds, torn apart by hands
    reaching to take you into
    their tender loving care
Allowing rain to fall, as tears,
at your departure and of joy
that you may now be reunited
Yet, here still, in the hearts
and minds of those left to digest
    the bitter taste of acceptance

You've captured well the deepest moments of sorrow at losing someone. Spot on visuals too!

Very thought provoking poem! Visually stunning as well! I can just imagine two big giant hands ripping apart the clouds to take someone to Heaven! Well done mooneyblack
