  • The Roaring Yawn

    Its roar - a petrifying peal;
    Its teeth were sharp and gleaming.
    It seemed that how to make a meal
    Of me, the beast was scheming!
    Yet far from truth this was because
    The cat, by the day's dawning,
    Had just been roused with gaping jaws
    And it was merely yawning!

    (This was written for the sketch that accompanies this. Happy viewing and reading!)

        Wonderful pairing here Raoul! I like how you set it up and switched it up. You are very talented.

        Envisioning Big Cats
        rising from dusty earth
        doing just this, I find
        I to am yawning.

          Nicely done with the setup and twist, playing well as you usually do in the flow and rhyme, Raoul! It makes me a little disappointed then the title gave it away.
