    Journey of tears

Harsh Cold rain drizzling on my face

The sting of sorrow stippling my skin

    Loneliness painfully residing

Light has left without a trace

    Heaving, sighing, the language spoken

Even sunny days are cloudy and dark

A constant streaming journey of tears

    This heart completely broken

Groaning for this heaviness to lift

For the wind’s warm laughter to embrace me

Join the stars that invite me to dance

    Sealing my soul’s deep rift

Sweet, thank you for sharing... for some reason 'stippling' while i know the word, is an uncommon one; i.e. it's not seen by me a lot. I liked that you used it here...

And the rhyme/rhythm worked well. I gotta get the knack to the shorter poems... but i find myself needing more space to fill to complete a porm/piece... lol ... ::exhales::

    =)

I’m an artist - fine art and faux art, so when I stipple paint, it’s a pouncing with many bristles and it reminded me of when cold rain drizzle on my face and I wanted it to picture like needles hitting my face. Hope it accomplished that. Thank you.

              Vocab. set to flow,
              first stipple and now,
              to Amenora, pouncing
that sees no hint of hunting
              unless it's a cushioned cat-claw kneading.

It seems so strange that there is such beauty in such sadness
