    Antediluvian 28th Jan.2018

    The wind sighs and soughs

    and breathes on trees,

    naked under fervid hand,

that strain and bend in bared unease

    groaning for the storm's release.

Gales, that once marked equinoctial climes,

march the land before their time,

    gone awry from seas astream

    with polar ice, melting

the calendar to a thing of whim,

set adrift to sink or swim.

I'm sure one gale after another
      is something new
      even for here.
I've just taken "with us" out of the final line
      for a hopefully better scan

Antedeluvian - before the great biblical flood. Are we living there now, to ignorant to get on the boat.
that is what I felt as I read

          Thanks Dwayne,
          I'm not sure
          rugged is quite me.
