    AFTER CANCER

    I see the cemetery man
    He’s got a plot
I got a piece of paper in my hand
    It’s a message with a plan
    Sometimes you need to read
    Sometimes just a deed
Most times you die and don’t understand

Will you find love beneath a polished stone?
    A life spent searching
Or did you find the season and the time?
Find a reason or a rhyme
Did you finally give up to go home?
Did death come to late or to soon?
    And you eventually died alone

    It’s good to think
    Someone cared for you
In a life that takes faith and skills
    It’s good to think, maybe
    You almost made it through
    Without hating something or someone
Within an end that always kills

    THE SECOND

Hello The second, Until the end let me be the best of me. How the many on their deathbeds wept in regret. This is a truly inspiring and masterfully composed poem. Fond regards, Tony.

Pondering our end, and our path on the way, indeed invites a willingness to see the truth of our actions and reactions.

This has a feeling of melancholy to it, The second.
