    The Latent Traveller (Tony Grannell)

    Where next

    for the Geomancer's dreamscape

and the minds that his words seize.

    Neurons entrained with moss filled

    glades, set over Floridian Keys,

then as oarsman, the Sea's bonded lover,

dragged down to his drowned demise.

He's wandered the whole world over,

    this rhymer of consummate ease,

each setting a change of location,

    each turn conspiring surprise.

    Floored as we are

    that we've travelled so far

    what's next in our itineraries?

    It's said, 'All the world's a stage'.
    Could be anywhere!

and this is the joy of imagination.
As with Tony's salutation, I hope
New Year hasn't found you frozen
solid like autos in New England.

A wee bit nippy - but things are on the warm-up for the next few days. We've only about 2 1/2 more months of winter left.

Hello Johntee, I had to laugh when I read this. Where next? I don't know or be it by air, sea, land or imagination, probably the latter, a tad lazy of late - hahaha! I love to travel, do you? Thank you very much for this poem. Your light-hearted touch agrees with my undemanding nature. I hope you are enjoying the new year. Fond regards, Tony.

      Thanks Tony, the New Year
is pretty much like the old.
      Cold! Cold! Cold!

      I hope I've encouraged
      to your imagination
      to further saga.
