I glanced at her and there it was.
It glowed; its awe caused mine to pause.
She had a heart, real as could be;
She was alive and she loved me,
I thought, though fixed upon the page
She stayed, fading whilst I, with age,
Grew grey. But still her glow remained
Proof of a love, bared yet restrained.
