  • Pygmalion's Dream

    I glanced at her and there it was.
    It glowed; its awe caused mine to pause.
    She had a heart, real as could be;
    She was alive and she loved me,
    I thought, though fixed upon the page
    She stayed, fading whilst I, with age,
    Grew grey. But still her glow remained
    Proof of a love, bared yet restrained.

    The artist's hand
    found in flagrante,
    creation unbound.

        Wonderful Raoul D'Harmental! The drawing, the longing delivered through the verse...you are quite talented to be able to do both!

          Hello Raoul, Well, I must say, you are of the dream I this one, so much so, that you have me dreaming as well. Whatever you do, don't flip the page, such a romance should not be crushed. A most beautiful passage of romantic poetry. Well done, indeed. Fond regards, Tony.
