    A winter morn

    Blue sky and cloud

    Crown the heavens

    Day awakens

    The frost feckless

    Fades from fealty

    Wealth squandered

    Crystalline melt

    Brushed by breezes chill

    Red cheeks flourish

    Yet yearn for suns

    Heart warming gaze

    Crisp countenance

    Calmly announces

    Seasons intent

    On winter morn

Really like the first stanza Jon. Sounds like a crisp cold morning.

This is a first rate poem.

Brief descriptive stanzas, that convey the emotion and imagery alike.

      Great work, poet!

Hello Parkinsonspoet, I have very much enjoyed reading this; crisp and sharp as is such a morning - one can feel the cold as one is 'brushed by breezes chill'. To-the-point language in fine poetry. Excellent. Do take care now, Tony.
